Andrew Rizzardi joined Trickle Up in 2018 as the Communications Officer in the New York office where he is responsible implementing aspects of the communications strategy including creating communications collateral, managing the organization’s website, and leading various outreach initiatives.

Prior to joining Trickle Up, Andrew managed communications and technology at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University and provided program support and research for Freedom House. He authored numerous country reports for Freedom House’s annual Freedom of the World and Freedom of the Press reports. Andrew also served as a media specialist with American University’s Washington College of Law.

Andrew holds a master’s degree in International Relations and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from American University’s School of International Service and School of Communications respectively. He is an avid photographer and will always veer toward live music.
