John Vicent Asaba is a Gender Officer for the consortium-led Graduating to Resilience project in Uganda since April, 2018. He supports gender assessments, ensures gender and protection are mainstreamed in the project, and builds the capacity of stakeholders and staff through training.

He has ten years of working experience with International Organizations, eight of which have been in implementing protection, livelihoods, and food security programs in the Refugee settings in Uganda.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Certificate in Administrative Officers’ Law and Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies. Asaba is married with two children, and in his free time enjoys volleyball and sharing experiences on businesses.
