Alexandra Gilliard is the Director of External Communications at Trickle Up. Before joining Trickle Up, she was the Director of Communications for the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, where she led the external communications strategy to share the Center's work in human rights and social, racial, and economic justice.

Prior to that role, Alexandra worked as the Communications Manager at Harvard University's Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, leading all communications efforts on the Institute's work in climate justice, emergency response, healthcare, and gender equality across several countries in South Asia. She has also worked as a Senior Editor for the International Affairs Forum journal.

Alexandra holds a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University and an M.S. in Global Studies and International Relations from Northeaster University, with a particular focus in conflict resolution and humanitarian efforts.
