Alfredo Espinosa

Vice President, Business Development

Alfredo Espinosa leads Trickle Up’s Business Development team, overseeing proposal development, stakeholder engagement, funding strategies, and donor negotiations to secure government contracts. With extensive international experience in business development, strategy consulting, and nonprofit leadership, Alfredo has held key roles in prominent organizations. At Vital Strategies, he advanced global health initiatives through strategic partnerships. As Executive Director of Visual Thinking Strategies, he promoted arts education, and as President of Aid to Artisans, he championed economic inclusion. Alfredo also served as Senior Director of Global Business Development at the American Museum of Natural History, Senior Associate at Katzenbach Partners, and CEO of the Mexican Rural Development Foundation. He holds post-graduate diplomas in economics from the University of London and nonprofit management from Harvard, a BS in industrial engineering from the National University of Mexico, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Alfredo enjoys exploring diverse perspectives through reading, learning, and travel.
