Ana has a background in anthropology from the National University of Colombia with a Master's degree in human rights, international humanitarian law and social anthropology. Prior to Trickle Up, she worked with various indigenous peoples of Colombia and Mexico.

She has experience in project management, qualitative research and management of territorial conflicts with a state entity in Colombia. In Mexico, she has worked with indigenous and Mestizo women in rights education and ensuring better living conditions.

Ana is interested in social and gender issues and in the implementation of grassroots approaches in various projects.
