Berna Twanza is the Senior Gender Advisor for the consortium led Graduation to Resilience Activity in Uganda. She is a Gender Specialist with over 11 years of experience working in a development context, with a focus on gender, child protection, gender mainstreaming, and advocacy for vulnerable and marginalized populations.

Through empowerment programming, advocacy, and promotion of human rights for all, Berna feels that positive change and societal transformation can be realized. She holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Women Studies, Post Graduate diploma in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
