Elena Szajewski
Elena Szajewski manages a fundraising portfolio of corporate, private, and family foundations, major and individual donor acquisition, solicitation, and stewardship, and oversees development operations, fundraising appeals, and donor-related special events. She has been with Trickle Up since 2018.
Elena has more than 10 years of experience in international development fundraising, research, and project management with a focus on gender and financial inclusion at the last mile. Prior to joining Trickle Up, Elena managed field research and special projects for a solar start-up in West Africa, consulted on various projects in Kenya including at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, and was senior staff and later a board member for the Ghana Health and Education Initiative, a community development NGO in rural Ghana.
Elena holds a MPA – Development Practice from Columbia University and bachelor’s degrees in economics and psychology from Boston College.
