Jagrity Sharan is driven by the potentiality of people, positivity, and her vision for progress. Jagrity completed her bachelor's degree in economics with honors at Patna Women’s College, and her Master of Arts in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Maharashtra. For the past two decades, she has worked with private sector actors, non-profit organizations, and funding agencies such as Save the Children (UK), GOONJ, and The Hans Foundation.

Jagrity has worked on initiatives related to health, education, and disability including mental health and women-led livelihood opportunities in interior regions of India. Her enthusiasm is fueled by countless transformative stories: hundreds and thousands of children going to school, women farmers not only transforming the lives of their family members but also influencing villages and communities, women from slums addressing mental health issues and making solutions accessible, the birth of healthy children, and the most vulnerable leading lives of dignity, among others.
