Julian Gocksch is Trickle Up’s Corporate & Foundation Relations Officer. Julian began his career working in city government working on the Pre-K for All Initiative, New York City’s effort to bring free, full-day preschool to families throughout the five boroughs. He then worked as a Candidate Services Liaison at the NYC Campaign Finance Board, an independent city agency with the mission of reducing the influence of large private contributions in the political process. Julian earned a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, working part-time at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment. Since then, Julian worked as a Director at CCS Fundraising, a strategic fundraising and management consulting firm, and as a consultant for an international NGO, Safe Water Network. Julian is a graduate of Trinity College (Hartford, CT) where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and German Studies.

Julian is excited to use the skills and experience in development that he has gained through these roles consulting and executing on fundraising initiatives to help advance Trickle Up’s work and grow our corporate and foundation portfolio (with a focus on unrestricted and mildly restricted grants). Julian lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and in his free time enjoys traveling, reading, skiing, and playing and watching soccer.
