Kaila Clarke
Kaila Clarke joined Trickle Up in 2018 as a Technical Assistance Specialist on the Refugee Affairs team. She supports institutional partners to design and implement Graduation programming for refugee and host communities.
Kaila’s Trickle Up portfolio has included both short and long-term technical assistance to UNHCR and INGO partners in Ecuador, Jordan, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia.
Kaila has experience in diverse livelihoods programming for rural communities living in extreme poverty, including field experience in Senegal and Uganda. In her previous roles, she oversaw project implementation, piloted new approaches to livelihoods development, worked to strengthen community-based businesses and savings groups, led monitoring and evaluation processes, and pioneered training programs for institutional partners, field staff, and local communities.
Kaila holds a bachelor’s in International Relations and French from Brown University and a master’s degree in Development Studies from The Graduate Institute, Geneva.
