Kamalika has 11 years of experience in social research, focusing on qualitative research & quantitative analysis. She completed her master's degree in economics from Calcutta University in 2009 with specializations in econometrics and finance. In the initial years of her career, Kamalika undertook financial research, which helped her transition to program implementation, focusing on monitoring, evaluation and documentation in focus.

She worked primarily in the areas of public health & nutrition; maternal & child health; nutrition, sexual & reproductive health; primary & secondary level education; child protection; and WASH. Kamalika brings to Trickle Up her recent experiences working with the Child in Need Institute and Splash International.
