Mike Castlen serves as the Vice President, Finance & Operations in the Americas office in New York. He is responsible for leading the financial planning process, managing human resources, and supporting operations in all Trickle Up offices globally.
Mike has over 22 years of experience in the international development sector, at organizations including Church World Service, Holt International Children’s Services, UNICEF, Foundation for a Civil Society, the UN Association of the US, and PCI-Media Impact, a producer of public health and other international education programs.
Throughout his career, his responsibilities have centered on finance, human resources, operations, planning, and organizational development.
Mike has a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College and a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs.
