She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of Allahabad, a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Development & Management from Prayagraj, Allahabad, and a Diploma in Tourism Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Sapna has previously worked at organizations such as Chartered Financial Analysis of India, ONGC Dehradun, UN Women, and Médecins Sans Frontiers. Her experience encompasses HR management, compliance, administrative policies & procedures, and she has also been involved in emergency intervention projects.
