Subhra Das
Subhra Das is a dedicated development professional with nearly two decades of experience in rural livelihoods, economic inclusion, and community-led development across India. His work spans empowering ultra-poor households, women-led families, tribal communities, and Persons with Disabilities through inclusive models like the Graduation Approach. His work also includes the promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage by enhancing the livelihoods of folk artists and artisans across rural regions.
He has successfully led multi-state projects across many Indian states, managed large field teams, and supported thousands of households through tailored interventions in partnership with government missions and civil society organizations. His expertise lies in program design, strategic planning, training and facilitation, and technical support for inclusive development models. His intent is to bridge grassroots realities with programmatic strategies, ensuring adaptive and impactful delivery.
He holds an MBA in Rural Management and a PG Diploma in Media Studies from the University of Calcutta. Passionate about grassroots engagement, Subhra finds inspiration in travel and learning from India’s cultural and social diversity.
