Natalia Wills

Regional Director, Latin America

Natalia is a passionate development professional with over two decades of expertise in socioeconomic development, social entrepreneurship, and gender-related issues. She holds a BA in International Business from EAFIT - Medellin and a Masters in Development Evaluation and Management from Antwerp University, bringing a strong academic foundation to her work.

With extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, Natalia oversaw issue areas of representation, gender, and monitoring and evaluation, as well as a substantial portfolio of over 30 projects at Pro Mujer, totaling approximately 15 million USD in grants. She was instrumental in organizing the first three editions of the Gender Lens Investing (GLI) Forum in Mexico and Guatemala, hosting international attendees from 30 countries and over 90 speakers. While at Fundemex, Natalia also tripled incoming revenue through a greater focus on inclusive business and value chain development in rural and Indigenous communities. Across her experience with NGOs, foundations, and social businesses in Colombia and Mexico, Natalia has recognized the market's potential to catalyze transformative change and is interested in further exploring the synergies between the private and sectors that drive women's economic empowerment.

More recently, Natalia has been focusing on advocating for financial inclusion and improving healthcare access for low-income women in Latin America, alongside championing gender, diversity, and inclusion in initiatives and investment strategies.
