On Nov. 4, 2021, new Trickle Up President Nathalie Laidler-Kylander discussed her vision for the future of Trickle Up and the opportunities that changes in the international development sector offer for our organization with Board Chair Penny Foley.

Nathalie Laidler-Kylander joined Trickle Up on Oct. 19 as President. For the past six years, she was a Managing Director at Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. Prior to that, she lectured on nonprofit management and leadership at the Fletcher School at Tufts University and the Kennedy School at Harvard University. Nathalie is the co-author of The Brand IDEA: Managing Nonprofit Brands with Integrity, Democracy, and Affinity.

Penny Foley is a Group Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for TCW Emerging Markets strategies. She is currently on the board of the TCW Group, Inc. (the first woman to serve in this role at the firm) and is a member of TCW’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce. She joined Trickle Up as a board member in 2008 and serves as the Board Chair.
