Self-help groups as a safe space for gender justice

Building on the platform created by economic strengthening of women through self-help groups, this manual presents an innovative methodology to increase awareness of gender issues and strengthen collective action to promote gender justice.

This manual was designed for local community facilitators to develop a conceptual understanding of gender justice and then facilitate a dialogue and potentially subsequent action to promote gender justice at the grassroots level through self-help groups of women living in extreme poverty.
