In 2001, Trickle Up helped launch 7,007 new businesses from which 21,506 people benefited. In honor of launching our 100,000 business since 1979, Trickle Up kicked off the 100 Women campaign in which 100 women of accomplishment honored our participants by fundraising towards the next generation of Trickle Up business owners.

Trickle Up continued to build capacity in the areas of finance, development, communications, program implementation, and monitoring and evaluation by strengthening our professional expertise in each of these areas.
